June 12th Theme: Spills and Quills
Exploring the works of Animator and Artist Don Dixon, we tackle the concept of perfection and see the beauty in what we view as “mistakes.” Pre-spilled paper will be available; participants are encouraged to also take part in the spilling process.
Art Therapy Open Studio is a welcoming space to explore art-making in a curious, supportive, and community-centered environment. Facilitated by an art therapist in training (Gretchen), each session includes gentle intention-setting, creative prompts, and guidance in using art materials to explore meaningful themes.
